New antenna mast for your Mercedes Benz. If yours is broke, this
is a perfect replacement to restore great reception to your radio.
This SMOOTH CORD antenna mast fits several models.
Check yours as some use smooth and some toothed even in the same
model. Antennas are easy to replace and you can listen to your
favorite station once again. Part meets or exceeds OE spec. and
fits the following:
Turn the radio on and remove the old
mast. Pull it straight out. Make
sure you get all of the old mast including the nylon attached to
the bottom of it. If the nylon at the bottom of the antenna breaks,
you’ll have to take apart the motor to remove it all.Feed the new antenna into the hole until it stops and have someone turn
off the radio. The turning gears in the motor will grab the nylon gears
at the bottom of the antenna and feed it back in. DO NOT bend or
break the antenna mast at all. One little ‘kink’ in it
will make it inoperable. And DON’T clean your antenna mast with WD 40,
only use special antenna mast lube.
